WWE News: Possible Women’s Division Title Change before Evolution PPV

WWE Evolution is going to be a milestone event in the history of pro-wrestling. It will be the first ever show that will feature only the female superstars from the WWE. Following the innovation of the Mae Young Classic show, this is yet another path-breaking idea of the company.

As per the confirmations on the official website, 50 superstars from ‘then, now and forever’ will be on the match card. It means many such returns will happen on this particular night. Previously, we have given an update of the potential main event of the night that might turn out to be an eight women tag team match.

The dream match between WWE Four-horsewomen and MMA Four-horsewomen is back on the conversation. There can’t be a better time and place to host this match rather than the Evolution PPV event. Women superstars who have spread empowerment for all these years are likely to steal the show.

However, there is a big problem while setting this matchup. All the women titles will be on the line at Evolution which means RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT: UK Women’s Titles would be up for grabs. It also brings out the fact that whoever is the champion can’t compete in this tag team matchup.

Now we do know, Ronda Rousey will challenge Alexa Bliss for the women’s title at Summerslam. There’s a good chance that she wins the title from the current champion. But if the match mentioned above takes place at Evolution, then she has to drop the belt in due course.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair face the same problem, as they are set to challenge Carmella for the title. If anyone of them becomes the champion, then she’d have to drop it within October 28th. No champion superstar can compete in a separate match other than her concerned championship match.

Even Shayna Baszler faces the same problem, as she is the current NXT Women’s champion. She might lose her title at the NXT Takeover Brooklyn IV show and then move on to the main roster to join this tag match. However, this could only happen if the mentioned criterion turns out to be true only then the match will become a reality at Evolution.
