The unthinkable of Daniel Bryan returning to in-ring competition happened at this year’s Wrestlemania.
After three long years, he was finally able to make an appearance in a wrestling capacity. Teaming up with Shane McMahon, he picked up the victory against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Going forward, Daniel Bryan will feature on the roster as a full-time WWE performer. It is why he resigned from the post of the General Manager of Smackdown Live. To fill up his place, Paige was made the new GM of the show. Now, we will look forward to the future of the former world champion.
The Superstar Shakeup process will begin from tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. According to the updates of WWE.com, chances are quite high that the leader of the YES movement will get shifted to the flagship show. He was kept in the front in those superstars’ list who are expected to get drafted.
Although Bryan is not willing to go away from the blue brand, this might turn out to be helpful for the officials. Roman Reigns is still not ‘over’ with the fans that did not allow him to capture the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania. A fan favourite like the former Smackdown GM can play the top babyface role, effectively.
But, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave an opposite report stating chances are quite less that Daniel Bryan will be sent to Raw. Instead, he would stay on Smackdown to get involved in the WWE Championship scenario. It might be a three-way feud amongst Bryan, AJ Styles, and Nakamura.

“I could see them avoiding that, yeah. You know they got to figure something out with Daniel Bryan I mean he’s got to be… I think they should really have Daniel Bryan and Nakamura and AJ Styles in a 3-ways program […] but I would hope that you would do that because aside from the fact the matches should be really good it’s something — I don’t know I just felt something watching that show Daniel Bryan didn’t feel as strong as he should have.
But at WrestleMania, he didn’t either. At WrestleMania, he didn’t because of the way they booked him. On SmackDown he didn’t because they put him in this match with a one-hour notice that you know people weren’t ready for it and people didn’t react to it like a dream match.”

As you can see from the above quotes, Daniel Bryan might not have been able to bring the YES movement to Wrestlemania to the full effect. The same happened on Smackdown, too for his dream match against AJ Styles. A limited buildup can’t bring the best reactions out of the fans. The upcoming WWE title feud can do it, effectively, if planned well.
