The next PPV event in WWE calendar is going to be the return of Clash of Champions after a hiatus of one year. The Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina will be the host venue of the show for which any official storyline is yet to begin. The post-Summerslam episodes of Raw and Smackdown have not announced any matches, to date. But the potential rivalries are pretty clear at this point.

So, wrestlingINC.com hinted the early predicted match card of Clash of Champions 2019. There will be a rematch from the Summerslam PPV event. A SummerSlam rematch is scheduled to take place at the upcoming WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view with Randy Orton once again challenging WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Another big Another match planned for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view is Sasha Banks vs. WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Sasha’s return to the scene attacking The Man was a clear-cut indication where that a feud is about to begin. So it’s a no-brainer that the title match will be happening. This lineup should also be repeated for weeks to come.
The Observer added that The Revival vs. Smackdown Tag Team Champions Big E and Xavier Woods for the titles may take place at Clash of Champions. This will be a cross-brand matchup continue allowing one brand’s superstars to compete for title belonging to the other brand. But to date, Vince McMahon has not approved this matchup.
The other marquee match for Clash of Champions should take place between Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan. The ongoing storyline does hint that the first matchup between these two superstars in a stretched feud should happen at the PPV event. Plus, Ali vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura rematch should also be on the match card considering the champion digested a pinfall loss to Ali.

As for the main event match at Clash of Champions, the current plan is to let Braun Strowman challenge WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins for the title. It would be a scenario where a babyface superstar will face another babyface star for the prime championship on Monday Night Raw. Also, The finals King of the Ring tournament should take place at the pay-per-view.
