WWE News: Potential Names to Feature on Traditional Survivor Series Match 1

We are just two weeks away from the 30th annual Survivor Series PPV event which is the last one from the ‘big four’ PPVs of the year. The theme if this particular one was made a brand vs brand rivalry from last year. It has been retained even in this year to set up some big matches.

As we already know, there will be four champions vs champions matches on the evening on November 19th. The main event will feature Brock Lesnar going against Jinder Mahal, whereas, there will be two traditional Survivor Series matches. Both the male and the female roster will participate in these.

Kurt Angle is team captain from the Raw brand with his job on the line as announced by the commissioner, Stephanie McMahon. Seeing this Shane McMahon himself volunteered his service as the team captain from Smackdown. Shane has also received four members of his team till date with only one seat remaining vacant.

We expect that this upcoming edition of Raw and Smackdown will fill up all the empty seats from both the brands. There should be some qualifying matches on the flagship show. On Tuesday night, a match between AJ Styles and Rusev has already been declared to fill in the fifth spot from their side.

In a recent report from PWInsider.com, a hint was given about the full team from both the brands. You can take a look at the below comments which confirmed that AJ Styles would be the final member of the blue brand, whereas, pretty big names will fill up the Raw side,

“Team Raw is scheduled to be Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe — Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle teaming up that’s pretty cool if you’re an Impact Wrestling fan. But that is the plan for Team Raw. I was told this is all contingent on Roman getting healthy. He was we were told under medical care, he is doing better but he has to still finish getting over whatever illness befell him, and he still has to recover and get back in ring shape.”

As per an announcement on Kurt Angle’s Twitter handle, Braun Strowman might be the only member whose inclusion on team Raw is confirmed. However, we have not received the confirmation of the news from WWE, till now. On the next edition of Raw, we will know whether the behemoth will be pitted against Kane in a solo feud or he will be included in team red for Survivor Series.
