Braun Strowman is the man who had received the strongest push on the Raw roster ever since the beginning of this year. Despite not winning one single title in his career, till date, he is considered as the most dominant performer to be present on the flagship show, currently. It is the reason why he received the championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at the No Mercy PPV.
It was for the first-time ever since 2014 that the beast had entered a match where he was the underdog. During the buildup of the match, the beast incarnate was dominated by him for multiple occasions. Never in his career, The Conqueror was manhandled, like Braun Strowman did him in three weeks. For the first time in his career, Brock was taken out of a stretcher during the championship match at Summerslam courtesy to the monster among men.
However, this momentum was not enough to let him earn the Universal title at the No Mercy PPV. The beast incarnate got pushed to the limit, and it brought the absolute best out of him to beat his opponent. He took Strowman to the Suplex City before finally putting him down with a devastating F-5.
From that point onwards, Braun Strowman has not been booked in a feud so that he can get a match at the TLC PPV. For the last couple of weeks, he did have one-off matches with both the tag team champions on Raw, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins. On both the occasions, the champs suffered a vicious beatdown by him.
So, this led to an interesting scenario that might be planned for him in the future. Wrestling Observer Newsletter disclosed that Braun Strowman might be one of the three opponents of the Shield at WWE TLC.
The chances are that The Miz might get dropped from the opponent squad. Strowman would take his place and join Sheamus & Cesaro to take on against the reunited Shield trio at WWE TLC. Or, it can even happen that a 4-on-3 handicap match will take place involving Miz, Strowman and the members of The Bar. We might get a clear picture of this on the upcoming edition of Raw.
