WWE News: Potential Plans Around Jeff Hardy and his United States Title 1

Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular superstars on the current WWE roster. He still possesses the same in-ring capabilities even after spending two decades in the pro-wrestling industry.

People still root for him no matter what. It is why WWE has him made a Grand Slam Champion in the company recently.

But the important part is that he does not appear on Smackdown on a regular basis. Jeff Hardy won the United States Championship back in April. He dethroned Jinder Mahal from his maiden US title run. WWE sent him to the Smackdown brand to have a strong run with the championship. But the outcome has been pretty much different so far.

Not appearing on televised episodes portray him like a week champion to the fans. The same happened with the younger Hardy too.

We last saw him on the Tuesday Night show three weeks ago before a one-off match this week. He is not going to participate in the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV either which means the US title will not be on the line.

The fans are concerned about his status in the company. A report from PWTorch.com, Jeff Hardy is dealing with a pinched nerve. It caused a few complications in his body. It is why the WWE officials are not bringing him for televised matches. But he participates in the dark contests once Smackdown goes off the air.

It proves the injury might not be serious for now. The WWE listings also confirm the same. Jeff Hardy might not participate at the upcoming PPV event, but he would continue to defend his championship after it.

The house show listings following Money in the Bank are out. These indicate he will defend the title in a no-DQ capacity. A Fatal-4-Way match will take place also featuring The Miz, Samoa Joe, and Rusev. It also indicates Jeff will enter into a new rivalry against any one of these heel superstars from Smackdown Live.

Meanwhile, it’s quite hard to believe a multi-time champion like Jeff Hardy will have to sit out of a PPV event. His elder brother Matt Hardy is also suffering from a poor booking on WWE Raw. It is continuing ever since the two have split on the flagship show courtesy of an injury last year.
