WWE News: Potential Schedule for Becky Lynch’s Return 1

Becky Lynch was sidelined from WWE TV once the Survivor Series PPV was over. She was chosen as the team captain for the blue brand to take on the team of the red brand.

Unfortunately, the Irish Lass-kicker was the first one to get eliminated from the contest after which her team choked and suffered a huge loss, courtesy of Asuka from Monday Night Raw.

That was not the only misfortune for her on that week since The Riott Squad debuted on the show on the very next episode of Smackdown Live. The team comprised of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan who attacked Becky Lynch at the backstage area. She suffered the brutal wrath of the faction on that night that took her out from in-ring action for an indefinite time span.

It was a storyline perspective to keep the fan favourite superstar out of the equation for sometimes, whereas, in reality, she needed to go on to a hiatus for movie filming purposes. WWE announced the filming process for the Marine 6 movie in November that included the Irish lady in the star-cast. The Miz will be the protagonist in the movie where Shawn Michaels will also be seen portraying a character.

Now, the former Intercontinental Champion was back on WWE Raw by filming his part of the movie that raised questions on WWE fan’s mind as to why they can expect Becky Lynch to be back onboard. A recent report from PWInsider.com gave an indication to the potential timetable of her comeback.

According to the source, the former Smackdown Women’s Champion will not be returning until January 2018. WWE might have brought back the Hollywood A-lister as soon as possible on the flagship show from the crew, but they might not have proper creative plans reserved for her owing to which her return would be delayed for now.

WWE has already started advertising The Miz for WWE Raw, one week before the episode indicating the return. On the other hand, they did not include Becky Lynch into the superstar’s hinting the delay. For now, it is being assumed that she would be back in time for Royal Rumble where we can see a first-ever women’s Rumble match.
