Emma has been complaining about not getting a chance on the Raw Women’s division for quite a long time now. She has all the tools of what it takes to become a successful Women’s Champion. But, due to lack of creative reasons, she never got the needed break after coming to the main roster of the WWE.
In case you don’t know, she was amongst the first bunch of the female talents that NXT picked up in 2013-14. Emma had an incredible rivalry with the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion, Paige. Although she had not been able to hold the title, she was the number one contender for Paige’s title creating a memorable feud.

So, considering this, she indeed was one of them who started the ongoing Women’s Revolution in the WWE who never got the appreciation. Whether it was thought that a firm booking would be reserved for her after emerging to the main roster as Paige had in 2014, she was paired in a funny angle alongside Santino Marella.
After that, she was suspended for an unfortunate shop-lifting incident that took her back to the NXT roster, as she came back with a heel persona. But, that did not favour her since a couple of injuries sidelined her for a long time.
In addition, the supposed push for the Australian Superstar, with Emmalina gimmick was also scrapped to the much disappointment for her fans.

However, at this time, she has won a tag team match on WWE Raw to get inserted into the Raw Women’s Championship match at the No Mercy PPV. It will be fatal-4-way match with Alexa Bliss defending against Emma, Nia Jax, and Sasha Banks. It would mark the first title match for Emma on the main roster.

Now, there’s a reason why she has been inserted into the match. According to the reports of Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Emma would help to look the rest three women look stronger in the contest. Bliss, Sasha, and Nia are the three prominent faces of the Raw women’s division, and the officials can’t make them look weaker in the match.
Hence, it is quite evident that Emma would be the one who would digest the pinfall. The chances of the title changing hands are quite less on that night. But, it can certainly be considered as the supposed push for the former NXT superstar who was begging for one.
