Roman Reigns going out of action from WWE programming has been a major headache for the company. Replacements are available for any other guys on the roster. But when it comes to replacing the franchise player, it’s pretty tough for any other promotion to find an alternative. Previous reports suggested that Braun Strowman is the automatic choice for the same.
However, updated reports suggest something else. Braun Strowman has turned out to be a big headache for the officials who failed to meet the expectations from him. Furthermore, he is dealing with some injuries those are barring the creative team to use him to the fullest potential. It’s certain that the planners are in real trouble, for now.
As per the current speculations, Braun Strowman is dealing with a knee injury. He needs some time off to heal the wounds. But there’s a lot of pressures on him to be the next top guy on the roster who can’t afford to take hiatus. So he had to continue working with bruised knees, for now. Crown Jewel PPV was an indication of his current concussion.
Brock Lesnar continued to hit him with several F-5s to put an early end to the match. The Monster among Men could not show up with a minimum resistance which was a rare thing. This might have been a desperate try to protect his already injured knees. But that’s not the only problem that the officials are covering up.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com has reported Braun Strowman also showed some attitude problems, recently. He is arriving late on shows and be the first one to leave the arena. When you are the top guy in the promotion you should present leadership by example. That is clearly missing from the Monster among men.
This bad attitude could turn out to be a fatal reason why Braun Strowman stops getting a push. He was the original favorite to win the Universal Championship vacated by Roman Reigns. However, Brock Lesnar ended up squashing the big guy to go back to the top of Monday Night Raw. The fans did not like it but the officials could not have another choice.
Braun Strowman has been in action in the live events during WWE’s United Kingdom Tour. It’s a good thing that he is still able to compete despite the knee injury. Hopefully, he overcomes it soon to be back in full shape that makes the way for him to capture the prime gold from Brock Lesnar. Currently, the resident big man on the roster is set to play the prime babyface in the absence of Roman Reigns.
