We have not seen Finn Balor wrestling on WWE TV ever since his match against Andrade at WWE Super Showdown in Jeddah. He was successful on that outing bringing back The Demon character and pinning El-Idolo after a solid matchup. This could have given a push to the Intercontinental Championship but the reality turned out to be completely opposite.

Finn Balor did not make even one single appearance on Smackdown since then that has also left a void on the blue brand. His absence did not make much sense to the fans who since it also harms the strong character of the babyface superstar. But in this case, the circumstances were responsible rather than lack of creative ideas for the superstar.
SportsKeeda.com shaded some lights on this matter stating that the Finn Balor vs. Andrade feud was about to continue for weeks to follow after Super ShowDown. But that could not be the case as Andrade’s mother passed away when he was in Sadi Arabia. WWE management gave him time-off to let him recuperate from the worsened situation.

With his opponent not being available, Finn Balor had to wait to make the comeback to action. He had to wait until Andrade came back. But then again, his aunt passed away a week later. So WWE pushed back his return, against so to let him have enough time to get over from this devastating timespan. It was the main reason behind Balor’s unwanted hiatus, as per the source,
“To my knowledge, it’s simply the case that the man he’s supposed to be feuding with is unavailable until further notice. Finn’s been a little unlucky on the main roster but it’s all very understandable reasons.”

As a result, we may not get the rematch between Finn Balor and Andrade, for now. As seen on Smackdown, Balor featured in a confrontation with Shinsuke Nakamura hinting that a fresh feud may start. He could eventually go on to challenge Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship in the future.
Earlier, the plan was to crown Andrade with the Intercontinental Championship which would have been his maiden title win on the roster. However, this absence could have changed the existing plans. Nakamura may be the one looking forward to dethroning Finn Balor from the reign.
