Some of the fans are really unhappy about Nikki Bella getting a title shot out of nowhere. Hardcore wrestlers are not fond of the elder Bella due to her Total Divas stint. Plus, her part-timer role is also a big reason behind the backlash. But WWE arranged this match purely to garner mainstream attention. Both the participants of the Evolution main event match are huge names even outside the company.
So we should not be surprised if a title change happens at Evolution. Ring Rust Radio discussed the potential outcome of the match to declare that Nikki Bella is coming out of the historic PPV as the new WWE Raw women’s champion. This would be significant to solidify her heel-turn out of nowhere. Plus, WWE has some big plans regarding Survivor Series once the title change happens.
Natalya will play a key role in this Evolution marquee match. She will be standing in the corner of Ronda Rousey whereas Brie Bella will be in the corner of Nikki Bella. Natalya will betray her training partner helping out Nikki Bella to win the championship. Thereafter, they will form a team which would also include Nia Jax.
This will ensure a traditional tag team match between Team Total Divas against the four horsewomen of UFC. Ronda Rousey will bring backups on WWE Raw in the form of her former partners from UFC. Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke are the three other names who formed the four-horsewomen faction in UFC. It was a counterpart of the original group from WWE NXT.
For months now, we have heard that the UFC four-horsewomen faction is coming to the WWE to compete in a match. This might become reality at the Survivor Series PPV now that all these four ladies are under contract with the WWE brand. This will also ensure the main roster debut of the three partners of Ronda Rousey. There’s no doubt that this is going to be a huge attraction at the final big-four PPV of the WWE.
