One of the main events of this year’s Wrestlemania is all set to take place on April 7th. Brock Lesnar will be defending the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at the showcase of immortals. This could easily have been the main event of the night if not for the women superstars dominating the scene.

However, Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar will still be a marquee match of Wrestlemania 35. WWE Universe is firmly rooting behind the challenger for this matchup. They do believe in the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble winner who might put an end to the reign of terror created by the beast incarnate for the better part of the last couple of years.
Roman Reigns’ reaction on Conor McGregor joining WWE
This could be a happy ending for Wrestlemania 35 if Seth Rollins does end up winning the Universel Championship. The situation is also behind him as well as fan-support. But it may not help him to win the prime title in case the champion just wants to re-sign with the WWE to spend some more times.
As reported by Brad Sheperd on Oh You Didn’t Know Podcast, the odds are against Brock Lesnar at this point. Fans do believe that the beast incarnate is leaving the WWE following Wrestlemania 35. So Seth Rollins does stand an actual chance to win the Universal Championship and bring it home on Monday Night Raw.
But the source fears that might not be the case as the current champion may renew his contract with the WWE. So he may not be leaving WWE after WrestleMania, at all. This means Seth Rollins could end up losing in this match just like his Shield brethren, Roman Reigns from last year’s Wrestlemania 34.
Here’s more from Brad Shepard’s comments,
“I was told to not bank on Lesnar leaving the WWE. His contract is up shortly after WrestleMania. I was also told not to bank on Lesnar losing the title to Seth Rollins.”
If his words become true then Brock Lesnar will win three back to back Universal Championship matches at Wrestlemania creating a new record.
The Conqueror left Saudi Arabia as the new Universal Champion after acting General Manager of RAW, Baron Corbin blasted Braun Strowman from behind. Following that, he had one title defense in the last four months. Finn Balor faced him at Royal Rumble 2019 to come up short after which Seth Rollins captured the contender’s spot.
