On the Phoenix of WWE Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins had a benchmark performance which should remain in the history books of for years to come.
A huge gauntlet match took place to build up the upcoming Elimination Chamber matchup. It turned out to be the longest match in the history of WWE Raw in its 25 years of timespan. Seth Rollins also helmed another record during the match.
The Architect of the WWE lasted nearly 65 minutes in the match which is the longest time spent in a match in the company’s history. Not only that, he achieved another accolade by defeating Roman Reigns and John Cena, fair and square, on the same night.
This is a historic achievement just like Chris Jericho beating Stone Cold and The Rock on the same night.
1 hour and 5 minutes.

Both Reigns and Cena are the two franchise players of the company, and there’s a big reason owing to which the WWE creative allowed them to get pinned by Rollins.
This point was noted in a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It was stated the potential reason behind this decision was to drag the prime superstar back into the title hunt, soon.
According to the source, Seth Rollins pinning Roman Reigns might start a slow buildup for a championship feud between these two.
However, it will not start, right now. Instead, we will have to wait until Wrestlemania where Reigns finally becomes the Universal Champion. Going forward, he will defend it against his brethren from The Shield faction.
Check out the updates from SportsKeeda.com, regarding this,
“There have been seeds planted for this over the past few months with Reigns eliminating Rollins from the Royal Rumble back in January and Seth managing to pin his Shield teammate on Raw. This would then keep Rollins busy until Dean Ambrose makes his return to WWE following his recent surgery and the duo then step into a feud of their own.”
It is almost certain Brock Lesnar will not be around the picture once the biggest event of the year passes by. Hence, The Big Dog will have to defend the title against some regular superstars from WWE Raw, going forward.
Going by this report, it might be certain that Rollins will be the first one standing in the line.
