John Cena continued his quest to call out The Undertaker for a Wrestlemania match on WWE Raw.
It continued for quite a few weeks which never came to fruition. Last week, the franchise player of the company sent an ultimatum to his potential opponent saying he only has one last episode to respond to the laid-down challenge.
The crowd also thought that the Undertaker returning on the WWE Raw episode from Atlanta, Georgia was evident. It was the go-home episode for Wrestlemania 34 where the show-up was supposed to be evident. A matchup between John Cena and The Undertaker is a dream bout.
So, a match like this capacity can’t be hosted in an unsanctioned manner. However, WWE is heading towards the same way, as the match has not been confirmed, till date.
Despite the Cenation Leader going on a rant towards the greatest superstar of all time, he did not bother to show up letting the Atlanta crowd down to a big extent.
The confusions were always there as to why this type of arrangement was done to this ‘once in a lifetime’ match. A solid buildup was needed for this contest but we have not seen a glimpse of these two sharing the same ring for a couple of times that could heat up the rivalry. Recently, a report was given shedding lights on this issue.
As per the updates from cagesideseats.com, the match card of Wrestlemania 34 is much stacked. It would not be wrong if we give the crown of the greatest match card of all-time to the show hosted by New Orleans. Hence, the Undertaker not wrestling in it would not make much difference which is why no-showing happened.
Further updates from SportsKeeda.com stated,
“Therefore, speculation is rampant that WWE does not really need a confirmation for The Undertaker vs. John Cena to sell tickets. Instead, the intrigue will keep people guessing and The Undertaker will directly show up at WrestleMania 34.”
There’s no doubt this year we will have multiple matches that has the caliber of being the main event of the night. We will have two huge championship matches including one dream match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Charlotte and Asuka will square off in the biggest singles match of the women’s division. Also, the unthinkable debut of Ronda Rousey will finally happen at the biggest event of the year.
