WWE has been heavily promoting the debuts of six NXT superstars to the main roster. EC3, Lacey Evans, Heavy Machinery, Nikki Cross and Lars Sullivan are the names concerned who are waiting for the green signal. Vignettes featuring these names are all over WWE Raw and Smackdown programming hinting some fresh storylines.
This week’s WWE Raw was about to witness a couple of debuts among them as per the rumor mill. Some of the superstars were present at backstage for the flagship show generating those speculations. Eventually, two of them came out in public to perform in matches. But those were not for WWE Raw tapings. Instead, that might have been taped for WWE Main Event show.
EC3 was the first name who appeared in front of the audience of the Amway Center. He competed in a match against Curt Hawkins and picked up the win quite easily. Lacey Evans was the other name who showed up as another major surprise. She was up against Natalya in a short match which ended in a losing effort.

WWE suffered a tremendous amount of backlash after bringing EC3 and Lacey Evans in such a capacity. WWE Raw aired from Orlando, Florida i.e. the home of NXT Superstars. It seemed appropriate that they could come out on TV to receive a warm reception from the audience. Instead, they chose them for a taped and less significant show like Main Event.
Thankfully, WWE may not air these appearances on Main Event. As recommended by F4WONline, they were just present in a dark match capacity. It comes as a huge relief for those who were concerned about a ruined debut for these two superstars. They can be assured that both EC3 and Lacey Evans will debut on either WWE Raw or Smackdown, conveniently.

“The television debuts for both performers could certainly happen on either RAW or SmackDown Live in the very near future. These matches were probably just a way for the two superstars to familiarise themselves to a live WWE environment, in front of a packed arena.”
Fans are concerned about these matches going on TV since WWE used the Main Event graphic for these two superstars’ matches. This is a show that airs in a taped format. So this could eventually come out in public in a delayed course. However, the source assured saying that it was just for a dark segment purpose. So we hope proper debuts will be waiting for each one of them on the main roster.
