WWE News: Reby Hardy Reveals Truth On WWE Buying The ‘Broken’ Gimmick

In case you are not familiar with the name Reby Hardy, she is the matriarch of the Hardy family under the ‘Broken’ gimmick. She played the role of Queen Rebecca during the innovation of the popular gimmick back at the TNA wrestling promotion.

Since the Hardyz was not allowed to come to the WWE with the Broken gimmick intact, we have not seen or heard from Reby Hardy, here. As reported earlier, the Hardy family is fighting a legal battle with the Impact Wrestling promotion who filed a lawsuit stating that the invented gimmick is an exclusive property to them and can’t be used, elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the speculations were all over the pace stating WWE has reached an agreement with the Impact Wrestling owners with it. So, the Hardy Boys would soon be re-debuting on Raw with the most infamous gimmick. However, Reby Hardy took social media to let us know the exact truth about the matter.

A fan asked her whether the news of ‘Broken’ Matt and Brother Nero coming to the WWE is true. Reby shot down those rumours stating all those reports false. No agreement was signed between the two parties over the legal battle.

She also stated that WWE might not have to do anything with it. The TNA or Impact Wrestling owners do not own the right of the gimmick. It was invented by Matt himself and hence it is an exclusive property of the Hardy Boyz.

That was not it for Matt Hardy’s better-half since she went on a rant blasting the former employer of the Hardy Boyz. She alleged the returning Jeff Jarrett of Impact Wrestling for spreading such rumours. This is being done intentionally to make people believe that they are in a position of power.

Jarrett, a former WWE employee founded the TNA promotion back in the last decade and managed to make it as one of the big competitors of the WWE, today. He was gone from the authority position for a long time before returning, this year.

Recently, he officiated to merge the Impact Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling (GFW).
