WWE News: Result of the Huge Six-Woman Tag Team Match on Smackdown Live 1

A bigger women’s division match was announced on last night’s Smackdown that featured the Women’s Champion and the superstars who are against her from day one.

It was the Riott Squad who targeted the titleholder since the day they stepped their feet into the Smackdown locker room, almost three months ago.

Ever since then, the three members of the squad, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan attacked the Queen of the WWE on multiple occasions. At one point, this nearly cost the title paving the way for Carmella to cash-in the Money in the Bank contract. But, Charlotte managed to backfire with the help of some backup.

The other two babyfaces of the Smackdown brand, Naomi, and Becky Lynch always be-sided with the champion present on the brand.

This helped Charlotte to take out Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan on last two weeks. Hence, a challenge was made by the faction to these three superstars setting up the match in Phoenix, Arizona.

As per announcement the match was hosted in the fourth segment of the night with Charlotte Flair, Naomi, and Becky Lynch coming out following The Riott Squad. Naomi and Becky were all fired up in the opening part of the match and took out all the members of the Riott Squad with drop-kicks.

The heels came back into the contest, as Naomi was tagged in and Ruby Riott cut her off. Quick tags between Riott and Morgan helped them to ambush Naomi for the better part of the match until Charlotte received a tag and delivered chops and boots to Riott and Logan.

Logan came back with her chops which forced Charlotte to make the hot tag to Becky Lynch.

The Irish Lass-kicker was rolling up drop-kick to Logan. Ruby made the tag and ate a kick, too. She then locked in the arm-bar on Ruby which was broken down by Liv Morgan.

Becky then went after both Morgan and Logan and took them out. But, this distraction allowed the leader of the Riott Squad to deliver her finishing manoeuvre kick on Becky to pick up the win which turned out to be a major statement against the babyface team.
