WWE News: Brock Lesnar’s Next Appearance On WWE Raw Revealed
Jan 5, 2017 at 1:22 PM
Brock Lesnar has not been seen in the WWE ever since his devastating loss in the Survivor Series PPV against Goldberg. His advocate general, Paul Heyman, however, appeared on Raw two weeks later to announce that Lesnar will enter into the 30th annual Royal Rumble match to seek his revenge. This announcement came after Goldberg decided to enter into the match the previous week.
Prior to the Royal Rumble PPV, the beast incarnate returns to television for the buildup of the PPV. This year too will not be any exception as we are just four weeks away from the first PPV of the year 2017.
As per reports from WrestlingINC.com, Brock Lesnar will return to Monday Night Raw on the January 16 episode. The episode will take place from the Verizon Arena in Little rocks, Arkansas. The local advertisements to promote the night have already begun. However, there has not been any confirmation by the WWE, till date.
This appearance of Lesnar is for the sole purpose of building the next confrontation between him and Goldberg. Previously, we have speculated that we will see a face-off between these two to hype the Royal Rumble match.
However, there’s been a change with their bookings. As of now, Lesnar and Goldberg will be appearing on Raw, alternatively. Goldberg appeared last night but will not be present on January 16. In turn, he will be present on January 23rd edition which will be the go home show for Royal Rumble PPV.
This is an interesting booking by the WWE since this will build up the feud. Things will already heat up before they meet in the Rumble match.
