John Cena was the franchise player of the WWE earlier in the days. But thanks to his budding movie career, we don’t see him perform in the WWE on a regular basis.
Cena makes occasional appearances, mostly around the big-four PPV events of the company. Then he goes back to fulfil his movie commitments.
Speculations are going on whether his schedule has changed again or not. Summerslam season is almost near us, but we can’t find him on our TV screen, at all. We are barely a few days away from the show to take place on August 19th in Brooklyn, New York. But there’s no sign of John Cena on WWE Raw.
Previous updates around him suggested an uncertainty around his appearance at the biggest party of the summer. Recent updates from reliable source had positive notes on it. A fan showed his concern by asking whether John Cena will make an appearance at Summerslam.

Dave Meltzer replied on Twitter saying, “Rumor has he will”. The veteran journalist did not reveal any details about the planning around him. Furthermore, another source TicketDraw provided a follow-up to his previous report. He confirmed planning around John Cena with the following,
“I said this almost 2 months ago, YES Taker and Cena will compete at #SummerSlam, draw your own conclusions.”
Now, it’s still not clear how this match is possible since no storyline has begun on the flagship show featuring these two. There’s the least chance of having it without any proper buildup on a show like Summerslam.

Meanwhile, the first bout between The Undertaker and John Cena did not live up to the mark. The latter one digested a squash defeat at the hands of the Deadman in just three minutes and 45 seconds. It is the reason why the fans have anticipated a rematch between these two.
But currently, Summerslam is advertising neither The Undertaker nor John Cena. Taker is likely to make his next appearance at the WWE Super-Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia. The Cenation Leader will also appear on the same show on October 8th. Previously, he had a one-off night at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
