Conor McGregor has publicly announced retirement from the MMA industry that led birth to another burning speculation. He could follow the same career path like his predecessors Brock Lesnar or Ronda Rousey which is yet to be official.

So what does Roman Reigns think about this potential career transition of Conor McGregor in the near future? The Big Dog is the leader of the WWE Universe whose view in this matter means a lot to many. However, he rather chose to have fun with this question and treat the name in concern as a Cruiserweight Division superstar.

While talking about the Notorious One of the MMA industry, Roman Reigns pointed out how this man does not weigh above 205 pounds. So his hilarious take on this matter was that the UFC megastar will have a “perfect place” at 205 Live i.e. in the Cruiserweight Division. He could fit up with the relatively smaller guys.

We should note that Conor McGregor was always a member of the UFC Lightweight Division from the get-go. He may not possibly make it to 205 pounds while staying in shape in the near future. Meanwhile, superstars below this much weight do not fit well on the main roster. Hence, Roman Reigns rightly chose him for the Cruiserweight roster.

Despite the negative reaction from a pro-wrestling perspective, Conor McGregor has always been a solid competitor around the UFC promotion who’s become a legend by retirement. His last fight came against Nate Diaz inside the Octagon when he was not even fully 170 pounds. He does require a big transformation before joining WWE.

Roman Reigns also talked about another such potential addition on the roster. He sounded quite positive while about NFL star Rob Gronkowski having a successful WWE career, someday. His athleticism and enthusiasm are quite real to watch. This is why WWE has already used him in a Wrestlemania spot back in 2017 with Mojo Rawley. They may just bring him back since he is no more an NFL superstar.
