Roman Reigns Wrestlemania 35 opponent revealed
An emotional story of Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania
Also known as Joe, Roman Reigns is now looking forward to portraying more of that side on WWE TV. It does not come as a surprise now that he has returned defeating Leukemia. This would help him to be an inspiration for some of the global fans who or whose family might deal with the same disease. While doing so, being the real Joe could be more useful.
It was indeed a pleasure to have Roman Reigns back on TV. He is a true fighting champion who was indeed scared in the beginning stage of the battle against Leukemia. But defying the odds, he came back from a sabbatical that lasted for five months. His comeback match took place at Fastlane where The Shield defeated the team of Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin.
Going forward, Roman Reigns has let his desire know in public that he will show more of his real-life on TV. In a recent podcast interview with Sports Illustrated Media (via WrestlingInc.com), he talked about how he wanted to change his character in WWE. Here are the below comments where he wanted to spread positive energy to his fans,
“I don’t wanna be the guy who comes out there and everybody gets semi-sad or gets super heavy all the time.’ I want people to have fun. I want to create escapism. It’s like a mini vacation [for the fans] on their couch. Let’s get into these storylines. Let’s take all this positive sensitivity being sent to me and shift it and send it to people in need. That’s where I’m at now, shifting all this positive energy from me to the people in need.”
The Big Dog sounded pretty positive to showcase different sides of his character. Since he has already declared the real name of himself, WWE should not bar him from speaking from doing it again openly in public. Hopefully, we will get to see more of the Samoan warrior side of him on Monday Night Raw, (wrestlingINC.com)
“If you know me in real life, I’m kinda like my cousins [The Usos], I’m a bit of a clown, I act up, we goof off a lot. We’re silly. We’re big kids. We’re always goofing around, trying to laugh. If I can add that in the next couple of years, those layers of being chilled out, little more comedy, a few different emotions, I think that would be pretty neat.”
Currently, there are speculations going on around who could potentially be the challenger of Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 35. Going by the storylines of WWE, Drew McIntyre should be the one. We should receive more confirmations on this moving forward in the programming.
