WWE News: Roman Reigns Out Of TLC, Huge Replacement Announced 1

As confirmed by the WWE, The Shield reunion at the annual TLC edition for 2017 will come to a halt. Roman Reigns is now out of the PPV due to illness. Apparently, he is suffering from viral meningitis or sort of mumps, as per updates from wrestlingINC.com.

None other than the Raw General Manager, Kurt Angle, will be replacing the Big Dog in the main event. Now, that came as a huge surprise for the WWE fans since it will be the first time in nearly 11 years that the WWE Hall of Famer will be returning to in-ring competition in the WWE.

Also, this will mark his first match since returning to the WWE. So, for those fans who were worried about not seeing a full-fledged reunion for The Shield on this Sunday, a major treat is waiting for them.

“Due to medical issues impacting two WWE Superstars scheduled to appear at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, streaming live on WWE Network this Sunday, the special event will now feature Kurt Angle competing in a WWE ring for the first time in more than 11 years, as he replaces Roman Reigns.”

As per the recent reports from the same source, numerous WWE Superstars’ health was affected due to a viral fever. So, this change was made to keep Roman Reigns out of danger, as a precaution. He is not injured and expected to be back in action as soon as gets fit.

The hardcore fans should not be happy after not getting to see the Hounds of Justice in action. But, they can keep the faith that the faction will feature in a marquee match at Survivor Series. For now, the WWE Universe should enjoy the return that we have been waiting, and that is of Kurt Angle. He is former multi-time world champion and one of the all-time best in-ring technicians that this business has ever seen.

“A WWE Hall of Famer and the current General Manager of Raw, Angle will join forces with Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose to battle the daunting combination of Braun Strowman, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and The Big Red Machine Kane in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs 5-on-3 Handicap Match.”
