Roman Reigns received his first PPV opponent in the form of Braun Strowman. The challenger cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to get this championship opportunity. These two have torn up each other on multiple occasions throughout 2017. This time around they got locked inside the Hell in a Cell structure providing a new environment for these two.
Hell in a Cell was not something new for Roman Reigns. He has defeated two bitter rivals inside this steel structure previously. But Braun Strowman was entering the demonic cage for the very first time. The complexity and environment of the arena completely change when this cage lowers down. So the champion had a fair advantage from that perspective wwe hotstar
An additional attraction of the match was a specialist for Hell in a Cell. Mick Foley turned out to be the special guest referee in this match all of sudden. We expected something special from the WWE Hall of Famer during the bout. Also, he is a babyface figure in the context which gave the upper hand to Roman Reigns. He would not do anything unfair to let him drop the title.

While JoJo was introducing the Hell in a Cell match competitors, Braun Strowman snatched the Universal title from Roman Reigns. It caused Reigns to give him a punch to the face. But the monster backfired giving a splash on the corner of the ring. He brought the steel steps into the match to hit the champion with it. But, sooner he received a Drive-By from Roman Reigns.
The Big Dog took out a Kendo Stick to break it on Braun Strowman. He also delivered some steel chair shots on the back. But the Big Man blocked it, and chased Reigns down only to hit the ring post. Thereafter, Roman Reigns delivered multiple Superman Punches, whereas, Strowman hit a Running Powerslam only to get near falls.
Ringside chaos broke out, as McIntyre, Ziggler, Rollins, Ambrose ran out to the ring. They climbed at the top of the Hell in a Cell structure. Rollins and Ziggler fell through the commentary table from the wall of the cell.
Brock Lesnar came out with Paul Heyman all of a sudden. He ripped apart the doors of the Hell in a Cell cage and hit both the competitors with it. Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman digested multiple shots from the beast to lie down on their back. A referee ran down to the ring declaring the match a No Contest. We will have a further update on the title scenario when WWE Raw goes on air, tonight.
