WWE News: Ronda Rousey Breaks Silence On Leaving Her Title On WWE Raw 1

Ronda Rousey surprised the world by walking away from WWE Raw without her title. She was confronting Stephanie McMahon to get her demand fulfilled for Wrestlemania. The Boss was not able to give her what she wanted and hence decided to leave. It was indeed shocking to see the strong champion leaving her belt like that.

But the fact is that Ronda Rousey did that for a reason. She is trying to set up one of the biggest main event matches of Wrestlemania history. Vince McMahon was the one to derail things for a match that was already set up. Becky Lynch won the women’s Royal Rumble 2019 to get an automatic shot to the women’s title.

She challenged Ronda Rousey to culminate a dream match for the fans. This is supposed to be the first-ever women’s main event match for Wrestlemania which. But McMahon decided to suspend the challenger for sixty days due to her attitude problems. Thereby, he introduced Charlotte Flair as the new name who would compete in the title match.

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Becky Lynch tried to invade once again. Ronda Rousey and Natalya were able to defeat The Riott Squad in a tag team contest via disqualification after Lynch hit Nattie with a crutch shot. She went right after Rousey repeating her actions from Elimination Chamber but was not successful.

The baddest woman on the planet sent her retreating. Also, the Atlanta Police arrived on the scene to arrest her. Afterward, Ronda Rousey asked Stephanie to reinstate Becky Lynch on the roster. She received a negative answer from her boss and dropped her belt in the middle of the ring. Lynch responded on Twitter asking her to take her belt.

WWE Raw women’s champion fired back with a proper answer showing why she was ‘born-ready’. Her statement is as follows which eventually broke kayfabe perspective,

“That’s what I’m trying to do dumbass. You hobbling around trying to be a ginger crutch ninja and taking fake prison photos in the hallway isn’t helping.”

The former UFC Bantamweight Champion is indeed true since these invasions are not going to help anyway. It is due to this title-drop that might force the McMahons to give one last chance to Becky Lynch to reclaim her Wrestlemania spotlight. It is likely that she will face Charlotte Flair at Fastlane to decide Rousey’s ultimate challenger.
