WWE News: Ronda Rousey Confirmed For An Upcoming WWE Event 1

Ronda Rousey is considered to be an iconic figure in the history of female combat sports. It was primarily dominated by the male wrestlers until Ronda came to the octagon and won the business. She used to possess an undefeated streak at one point much similar to The Undertaker in WWE. But, she was able to earn the victories in real fights which were perhaps a bigger accomplishment.

She had become a former Bantamweight Champion in UFC and turned out to be the most dominated female performer in the MMA history. Plus, she is a mainstream icon considering his Bronze win with the US Olympic team. Now that she is supposedly done with her UFC career, rumors are running rampant about her potentially joining the WWE shortly.

She has been a lifelong fan of the world’s biggest wrestling promotion that dragged her to various WWE events including the infamous Wrestlemania 31 moment alongside The Rock. Ever since that became the best moment in the entire year in the WWE, fans always wanted to see her competing in the squared circle.

In recent times, there have been multiple teasing which suggests that there might be an upcoming connection between WWE and Ronda Rousey. Also, the company has now confirmed her to appear on an upcoming live show which is going to be hosted hugely.

The final of the Mae Young Classic tournament is going to be hosted on September 12th. Apparently, WWE intends to make it a one-of-a-kind experience for all the fans. Hence, we can expect huge names on that night including Ronda Rousey. It has now been confirmed that Cathy Kelley will be the host of the evening whereas Ronda will make her presence felt on that night, as well.

According to the reports of SportsKeeda.com, the following names will also be attending the live event that will be aired on the WWE Network,

“Other appearances for the Mae Young Classic red carpet will be cast members from the Netlix’s GLOW, U.S. Olympian soccer star Hope Solo, Charlotte Flair, Stephanie McMahon, the Bella Twins, Bayley, Triple H and other competitors from Mae Young Classic.”
