To hype-up the Money in the Bank PPV, WWE added Ronda Rousey in the card.

It came as a huge surprise that the mainstream superstar is all set to perform at a PPV show which is out of the ‘big-four’ PPV events of the calendar. Furthermore, the confirmation of the match came unusually.

This past Tuesday Night, WWE attended the NBC Universal Upfronts. It was business summit attended by some of the most prime WWE superstars. Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax were present at the event alongside Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Charlotte Flair at the NBC Universal Upfronts.

Most of the WWE superstars are currently on the UK tour of the WWE. But, Charlotte, Nia, and Ronda were given a special permit to attend this particular event in the New York City. These two had a confrontation at the red carpet of the show.

Initially, these two had a greeting session that was filled with tremendous respect towards each other. But, then some of the sources reported that Nia Jax challenged Ronda Rousey for a WWE Raw women’s championship match. It has not confirmed the upcoming title match, though until an official statement was received.

The vignette of these two confronting at the past event channelled for multiple times on WWE Raw. Later, WWE.com confirmed it for the Money in the Bank PPV event,

“Nia Jax shockingly named Ronda Rousey as her next challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship this morning at the NBCUniversal Upfront in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.”

The match is all set to be hosted by the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Furthermore, this will be the second only match for Ronda Rousey in her WWE career. She is getting a championship opportunity after just two months of her debut at Wrestlemania.

Later, Ronda Rousey was caught speaking with E-News stating,

“We’re professionals, so when we get in there, there’s a job to be done. When we’re outside of the ring, then we can still be respectful to each other. We all have the same goals. We’re all trying to lift the women’s division and to show people that we have more to offer than they’ve given us credit for in the past.”

It is going to be the second title defence of Nia Jax’s title reign, till date. She has won it from Alexa Bliss at the ‘show of shows, on April 8th.

As stated by her on the red carpet of the event, she has met no one like Ronda Rousey, till date.

But, she will be ready at WWE MITB PPV for the former UFC superstars. It is going to be a collision of the two behemoths inside the squared circle, indeed.
