WWE released Big Cass from his contract a few days ago. It was a surprising move by all means.
Cass returned from a brutal knee injury to go into a feud against Daniel Bryan. It looked like that WWE reserved a main-event spot for him for sure. But the original situation turned out to be pretty much different.
They used Bryan to bury this seven-footer who kept on boasting about his strength. After suffering two consecutive losses against him, it was time for him to say goodbye to the WWE Universe. His attitude turned out to be the biggest headache for the officials. We have reported earlier about several backstage problems featuring him.
Big Cass made none other than Vince McMahon angry with his activities. The rumour mill suggested he had a confrontation with Carmella too. Things went far beyond between these two producing much heat against him. We need to remind you that they were in a relationship before.
A report from stillrealtous.com gave updates that Big Cass wanted to have reconciliation with Carmella. They might have had a heated conversation after which he grabbed Mella by her arms. Eric Rowan and The Usos had to step into the matter to separate these two. This kind of unprofessional behaviour is not expected in WWE locker room.
This particular news did not get verified though. However, the internet suggested it was one of the few reasons for WWE firing Big Cass. Recently Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports denied any such incident. He is a close friend of the former WWE Superstar and found it hard to stay quiet after hearing such false rumours.
These were his clarifications on the social media,
“I’ve been pretty silent about Big Cass’ release from the WWE because he’s a good friend of mine and it’s just an unfortunate situation all around that I’ve felt really bad about, but this report that it’s because of an “altercation with Carmella” is complete and utter bulls**t.”
Carmella and Big Cass broke up a long time ago. It might have happened at the beginning of 2018.
Since then her career went to an upwards direction, whereas, the injury sidelined Cass for a long time.
Even after making a significant return he could not bank on it to make a name for himself. Hopefully, he will receive better bookings on the indie scene in the near future.
