WWE News: Ryback Responds To Dana Warrior Comments’ On His Wrestlemania 30 Match
May 7, 2019 at 3:55 PM
Ever since Ryback left the WWE, he is trying to earn a name for himself by speaking more and wrestle less. He has started his own podcast named “Conversations with The Big Guy” where he always comes up with some unrevealed news from the past associated with him. For most of the times, he claims that he was behind this idea which started a meme trend on the social media where fans keep on mocking him.
A few days ago, Ryback claimed on the show stating that WWE actually wanted him to face The Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 30. The initial planning of the match was done when he got to know about this. But, unfortunately, that never came out into fruition due to creative differences.
Not to be disrespectful but how would you know when @VinceMcMahon can & has changed his mind at the drop of a dime? https://t.co/mbzeSUNQ2P

In that year, the legendary Ultimate Warrior returned to the WWE as part of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. He even made an appearance on WWE Raw following Wrestlemania 30 before we got the saddened news of his demise. His health condition was not quite well considering his growing age. So, it is quite obvious, people did not want to believe in Ryback’s words which were as following:
“Mark Carrano (senior director of talent relations) actually had shown me the WrestleMania card early. They kind of have an idea of what they want to do, obviously, ahead of time, and they had on it Ryback versus Ultimate Warrior. And I just said, ‘cool’.”
The Warrior’s wife, Dana Warrior came to know about Ryback’s claiming on the social media and addressed it saying that it was a rubbish news. WWE has never planned such a match featuring these two. She posted the following comments on Twitter in response to the Big Guy.
Not true. It always saddens me when people tell untruths on a man’s grave to promote their lives. Do your OWN work. Dana https://t.co/B4gFSmKljq

I’m well, Ryan. Cultivating a legacy not living in fantasy xo?Dana https://t.co/73XfwmbKFy

But, Ryback is someone who is well known for not moving from his opinion and so he went on to point out that exact moment where he spoke about the match.
2:06:39 mark to be exact. Hope all is well Dana ? https://t.co/3xc8ejm0Pm

This was a desperate try from his side to stay true to his words. Dana did not make any further comments on the matter. It’s a good thing that the match never happened since The Ultimate Warriors was at all in shape for wrestling. He passed away just days after Wrestlemania in 2014.
