Samoa Joe has become the new number one contender for the Universal Championship on this past Sunday at the Extreme Rules PPV. He defeated four other opponents; Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins in order to earn the right for facing Brock Lesnar.
The championship match is set for the Great Balls of Fire PPV in July. The main event of the inaugural PPV will witness this contest between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe. This will be Lesnar’s first-time in-ring action in the WWE ever since he won the Universal title against Goldberg at Wrestlemania 33.
Now ever since Samoa Joe has become the contender, he’s been given an abrupt push to the top spot. The audience wanted to see this dream contest for a long time now. So, despite the PPV being almost five weeks away from now, the stake have already been raised with the happenings that took place on Raw.
Soak in the moment, @SamoaJoe. It’s your moment in the spotlight. You’ve wanted this notoriety. Now you have it! https://t.co/kOaykFEImM

Joe confronted the advocate general for Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman in the middle of the ring on this past episode of Raw. The ECW veteran tried to fire Joe up with his tricky comments. But, the plan fired back since he got trapped in the devastating Coquina Clutch by Lesnar’s opponent.
The Samoan Submission Machine went recklessly while attacking Heyman in the process of passing him out. This was a huge statement made by The Destroyer.
Now, the advocate did not take this lightly and took his twitter handle to fire back on Samoa Joe. He posted a slow motion video footage of the incident with the following caption: “It’s your moment in the spotlight. You’ve wanted this notoriety. Now you have it!”
Collateral damage is such a unfortunate necessity. Be well Paul, I trust my message arrived without delay. I would loathe to send it again..

Lesnar is being officially announced to make his presence felt on the June 12th episode of Raw. With redemption in mind, the confrontation between Joe and Lesnar will turn out to be the most physical.
