WWE News: Samoa Joe Declared His Dream Opponent’s Name In The WWE 1

Ever since Samoa Joe has stepped foot in the main roster, fans wanted to see some dream matches to happen involving him. His matches against John Cena, AJ Styles, and Brock Lesnar are considered to be of those which are yet to come.

The Samoan Submission Machine is still waiting for a big break in the main roster after debuting back in January. He is still stuck with his storyline alongside Seth Rollins which is likely to continue until this year’s summer. Hence, we can certainly wipe out the possibilities of seeing any one of those above-mentioned bouts.

Meanwhile, Samoa Joe has appeared in an interview with APP.com where he commented on the superstar whom he likes to face the most in his WWE career. The interviewer asked about the one whom he would like to lock horns in the near future and he came up with:

“In a lot of ways, I think it would be easier to provide a list of people who I’m not excited to get in the ring and go around with. I mean, the answer is probably more people than I can list in this certain amount of time.”

He continued by pointing out that one name in particular which turned out to be none other than The Phenomenal One. His comments were as following:
“(At) the top of that list, obviously, (are) the John Cenas of the world, Randy Orton. Of course, me and AJ (Styles), we’ve battled for years back and forth, so anything involving him I’m more than compliant with. Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, the list really is quite long — and hopefully, I’ll get to a lot of those places in the coming years.”

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe had a long history between them. They both were the key figures of the TNA Impact Wrestling promotion. In fact, these two are the main reasons that the promotion has become one of the biggest promotions in the world. They have featured in some mega matches in the company before heading to the WWE. With the main event calibre talents that they are today, their match is certainly going to be a Wrestlemania-worthy match.

But, considering that both of them belong to different brands, the possibility of seeing this match in near future is less. Joe will be looking forward to his chance to become the number one contender at Extreme Rules whereas Styles will be competing Kevin Owens at Backlash.
