WWE News: Sasha Banks Opens Up On Becoming A Heel, Again!

Sasha Banks is one of the superstars on Monday Night Raw who is not being utilised properly, despite being a fan favourite. Although she is a three-time Raw Women’s Champion, we could barely remember her with the title since she was used as to put over her nemesis, Charlotte for the entire year of 2016.

This is the reason why the fans want to see her going back into the past mode of The Boss. She rose to the fame with the villainous gimmick back at the NXT. But for some reasons, WWE creative held it back ever since she came to the main roster.

A heel Sasha Banks feuding with her on-screen best friend, Bayley would be a dream rivalry for the audience. They are begging to get it on the television for quite sometimes. But, there’s no surety on whether it will happen or not.

Recently, the legit boss of the WWE appeared on David Shoemaker’s Masked Man Show to give some statement about her character. Plus, she also opened up about the much-anticipated heel turn from her. Speaking of her on-screen persona, she said that she is staying with WWE for many more years to come. So, there’s no hurry to become a villain, as early as possible.

Besides, she also stated that when it comes to the storylines and rivalries, it depends on the creative. The WWE writers are the one who pulls the trigger on one character. Plus, she did not forget to mention that Bayley is the only one who is her only best friend in the WWE. Check out her comments here while asked about her preference on the face or heel character:

“Either one. Because a lot of people ask me, ‘When are you going to turn heel? When are you going to turn heel?’’ Like, I don’t care because guess what? I’m going to be in the WWE for a very long time so you’re going to see both versions of myself for a while.

So people need to shut up because that’s what I’m sick of hearing. ‘When are you gonna turn heel?’ Then once I turn heel, ‘When are you gonna turn babyface?’ You guys just need to shut up and let me do me okay. Why do you want me to turn on Bayley? That’s my best friend. I don’t have a lot of friends so just accept it. Yeah, I play either one very well, so it doesn’t matter. They’re two different versions.”

As for now, the Sasha Banks vs. Bayley feud is reserved for the Summerslam PPV. It was pushed from Wrestlemania 33. Considering the constant changes in planning, there’s no certainty of this one happening either at the summer’s biggest PPV also.
