Roman Reigns was the favorite one when it comes to the main event spot for Wrestlemania for a fifth straight occasion. But he is out of the equation battling against leukemia opening wide the space for women superstars. There can’t be a better opportunity for the officials to put the women superstars in the spotlight with their franchise figure being away from the scene. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns continues to be on the road to recovery, for now.
The shocking announcement came from Roman Reigns on the October 23rd episode of Monday Night Raw. He won the Universal Championship back at Summerslam 2018 and was having a decent run with it. We hoped that it would continue for a long extent until the Leukemia disease came back from remission and took him out of the equation. There’s no chance that we will see him coming back to the scene for a very long time.
This is a life-threatening disease that the Big Dog is dealing with. We did not receive any confirmed update on his current status or return from the WWE. Speculations are all over the internet suggesting that this kind of disease takes a lot out of a superstar’s body. So Roman Reigns will need to go through a lot of turmoil before becoming physically fit.
Seth Rollins gave an update on his former Shield brethren, however. He had a sitdown with FOX 2 for an interview and spoke about Roman Reigns health condition. He stays in touch with the former Universal Champions and thereby knows how much positive he is, right now. The treatment process is going on in a correct way with the Samoan family backing up their favorite son.

“Roman is doing great. He obviously spent the holidays home with his family and he’s doing really good. He’s in a good position. He’s primed to make a comeback, hopefully sometime sooner rather than later. But at the end of the day, he’s just focusing on getting healthy right now. I will say that he’s doing good, he’s in good spirits.”
It’s always good to hear positive updates for Roman Reigns. He is the franchise player of the company whom WWE programming needs more than anybody. Hopefully, he gets over with the disease within this year to make a valiant comeback in due course.
