It was during the 2012 Survivor Series when the group known as the Shield made their debut. The combined force of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns changed the course of the WWE. Later, they went on to become the most dominant faction in the WWE before parting ways in the year 2014 in a shocking betrayal.
They always worked as a team during their peak. But recently, Seth Rollins shared an instance that made him and Roman Reigns jealous of Dean Ambrose. It was during the WWE’s UK tour when Rollins confessed the same in an interview with GiveMeSports.
After Wrestlemania XXIX, WWE conducted a post-Wrestlemania UK tour in which The Undertaker was a part of. The Shield featured in a huge six-man Tag Team match against The Phenom, Kane, and Daniel Bryan. It was the match when The Shield punished Taker by putting him through the table.
Rollins said it was a lifetime opportunity for him to feature in a match against the Deadman. However, the very next night, Dean Ambrose had the opportunity to receive a singles match against The Undertaker at a house show, which Rollins or Reigns didn’t. Rollins admitted it made him as well as Roman kind of jealous for being so close but not getting a singles match against the Phenom. Taker decided not to wrestle for one year after the UK tour was concluded.
This is what Rollins said about the incident, “I remember the next night Ambrose got the singles match with Taker, and myself and Roman were both very happy for him, but also very envious of that spot. There is a handful of guys he has wrestled in singles matches in the past few years, so, to have that on your list would be pretty sweet.”
Seth Rollins, however, will soon receive an opportunity to get inside the ring with Triple H at the grandest stage of Wrestlemania or even at the Royal Rumble event.
