WWE News: Seven Title Matches Confirmed For Greatest Royal Rumble Event 1

The historic live event in April has been made even bigger with the announcement of multiple title matches on the show in April. Earlier, it was reported that the Greatest Royal Rumble event was confirmed from Abu Dhabi just after the Wrestlemania season would be ever; It is going to be a 50-superstar over-the-top-rope challenge that is going to be the biggest of all time.

Previously, we received the 40-man Royal Rumble match in 2011. With the upcoming show on April 27th, this record will be shattered. Plus, there will be some more blockbuster matches on the live event those will be contested in championship capacity.

According to the confirmation made by WWE, not only the ever-exciting Royal Rumble match will be hosted to entertain the Abu Dhabi fans but also most of the titles present on Raw and Smackdown are on the line. The only championships those were left off are the women’s titles because there are certain restrictions for women performers in the country.

These are the official information given on WWE’s official website,

“Following an agreement between His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh and WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invites the world to the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m. AST to celebrate the Greatest Royal Rumble event in WWE history.

Tickets will be available Saturday, March 31, and this historic event will feature seven championship matches, including the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship and Cruiserweight Championship.”

It is to be noted that the female performers previously created history by performing in this country during the end of 2017. Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks competed in the first-ever championship match hosted in the middle-east region.

To cater to the bigger fanbase present in Saudi Arabia, WWE is likely to host more of the shows shortly. This particular show is going to be quite a unique experience with 50 superstars competing in one match which is an unbelievable concept. Already multiple superstars from both Raw and Smackdown have been confirmed to participate in it.

Names like John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Shinsuke Nakamura and more are being advertised. More big names are likely to be confirmed in due course for the Greatest Royal Rumble show. There are chances that WWE might wish to broadcast the event on the WWE Network.
