It was previously reported that with nothing really going on with him inside the squared-circle, the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus is busy doing his movie’s promotion, nowadays. The former 4-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Money in the Bank briefcase holder and a Royal Rumble winner has been a victim of bad bookings in WWE, as of late. He set up the group known as the League of Nations prior to Wrestlemania season which turned out to be an utter failure. Now the group has fallen apart and they had gone their separate ways.
Meanwhile, Sheamus these days are making quite waves in Hollywood as the leading bad guy in the latest movie of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. He will be seen doing the role of an enhanced rhinoceros Rocksteady, in the movie. Now, wrestlingINC.com reports that Sheamus was present this past week at the Wizard World Comic Con this past weekend in Philadelphia and he desired to be a part of the Marvel Universe by saying:
“I want to be a part of the Marvel Universe,” Sheamus said. “I’m a big fan of the Marvel comics and The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, but I would love to be a part of the Marvel Universe.”
With that being said, we can expect to see Sheamus in more movies in near future and if an opportunity comes he surely will be a part of the Marvel Universe and follow the footsteps of The Rock and John Cena, who had already made it big in Hollywood.
Speaking of the movies, another WWE wrestler Luke Harper will soon join the list of the superstars who had roles in the movies. wrestlingINC.com reports that Harper has been cast in a horror-action movie called Mohawk. Dark Sky Films and Snowfort Pictures will be producing the movie and Ted Geoghegan will be the director of the film. Mohawk will have Kaniehtiio Horn in the lead role who will play a young female girl finding herself in a chase. Harper is sidelined from WWE due to a knee injury and the recovery time is expected to be around 5 to 6 months.
