Smackdown general manager, Paige announced a huge contract signing on this week’s episode. It will take place over the WWE Championship match at the MITB PPV event.
AJ Styles is set to defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura for the fifth time in a row. It is going on since the Wrestlemania PPV. They will meet in a PPV event for the third time consecutively.
The next match between them will take place in a special capacity. The two cornerstones of Smackdown Live has been in a feud for the past several weeks. The biggest event of the year began the tradition. It was on that show where Nakamura turned into a villain. He delivered a low blow to the WWE Champion to change the entire complexion of the rivalry.
The Japanese Sensation adopted the heel persona so well from that point onwards. Nakamura hit the Phenomenal One with several low blows to make things personal between them. Even a No-DQ capacity failed to produce a definite outcome between them. So, we needed another such environment to settle the score.
Home, but always working for #SDLive. This Tuesday, we will sign the contract for the #WWEChampionship match at #MITB…and I will be PERSONALLY overseeing it. pic.twitter.com/LeKfG0LQmH

Nakamura won a match on Smackdown’s London episode to choose the stipulation for their next bout. He announced it to be a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship at MITB event.
This contest will not be official until the two participants sign this contract. So, Paige announced the contract signing segment on tonight.
The Artist seemed to have a cryptic take on this announcement. The Smackdown superstar took his Twitter handle to express his excitement on this. He stated that AJ Styles should sign the contract by sitting in a chair. Standing up will not be good for him.
Very nice to offer @AJStylesOrg a seat at the table. He can’t sign the contract standing up! #WWEChampionship ✒️?

The challenger wanted to indicate two things. He can deliver another low blow to his nemesis if he stands up.
Plus he might have also indicated Nakamura wants to keep him down for the ten-count. The same happened two weeks ago when Nakamura downed him with Kinshasa two weeks ago.
We will witness whether this segment on Smackdown goes down smoothly. The chances are high that we might see a brawl between these two on the show. Tonight’s episode will come live from Corpus Christi, Texas.
