WWE: Smackdown Star Set For a Big Push in the Roster

The Money in the Bank PPV event is the next stop for the WWE programming. After more than five years of time, this particular event is going to be hosted in a dual-branded manner. So, the WWE Raw and Smackdown roster are gearing up for the gimmick oriented match. This could very well change one of the superstars’ career from any of the shows.

The buildups around the ladder match have already been started. As noted by the general managers of both WWE Raw and Smackdown live, there will be two ladder matches from the male and female division. Superstars from the two shows can perform here after winning their respective qualifying matches.

As seen in this past week’s edition of the shows, there were a number of qualifiers hosted on the red and blue brand. Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Rusev and The Miz advanced to the MITB 2018 match. Charlotte and Ember Moon advanced to the same match from the women’s roster. Furthermore, there will be some more such matches in the near future.

To hype up next week’s Smackdown, we have already let known about one such qualifier.

From London’s O2 Arena, The New Day and The Bar will battle it out to decide a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Going by the recent reports, chances are high that The New Day will win it.

One of their group members is set for a big push on the roster. Big E is the name reported by stillrealtous.com to get a singles run in the future.

So, The New Day will win the upcoming bout and then choose the muscle of their group to give an opportunity to compete in this ladder match on June 17th.

Also, check out the updates from the source,

“Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently speculated that it will be Big E who ends up advancing to the match and that he could be in line for a big push. He went on to say that if Big E is going to get a push, now is the best time to do it while New Day is still popular and that the team could potentially continue with just Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.”

Big E has been an Intercontinental Champion before and has the potential to go solo on the roster. It will be good to see him getting the elevation that he needs to the next level.
