WWE News: Smackdown Superstar To Return With A Repackaged Gimmick 1

When it comes to the roster, WWE has the biggest one amongst the wrestling promotions all over the world. They are the largest organization in the history of sports entertainment and had different sections that the others do not. Three different rosters are maintained for Raw, Smackdown and NXT.

So, quite obviously, it’s not possible to focus on every single superstar and involve them into some storylines. From time to time, numerous wrestlers miss tv time due to this reason. One such name that is suffering the same consequence is Dolph Ziggler.

Despite being one of the veteran workers in the WWE that has been around for two decades, the officials have not been able to involve him in some sort of angles on Smackdown Live. This is the sole reason that the show-off has not been in recent times on the show.

According to wrestlingINC, the creative does not want him to book in some random matches. This can hurt his status as a veteran player and hence decided to keep him off the TV.

The former world champion took his twitter handle to note on the topic saying that the fans should not forget him. This might be treated as one indication that he is not done with the company and will be back onboard when necessary.

A fan asked him about his possible return on Smackdown following Summerslam. He did not give a negative answer to tease the same. The source also hinted that the officials are most probably willing to bring him in a drastically changed avatar.

His older gimmick is no more attracting the fans and it is being speculated that he will be returning in a repackaged persona. No hint was given as of what that changed gimmick would be.

Dolph Ziggler was present in a couple of house shows prior to Summerslam. He had singles match against Randy Orton. In another show in Detroit, he also teamed up with Jinder Mahal to take on Orton and Nakamura’s team. However, these all are considered as one-off appearances and we have to wait some more for his tv appearances.
