WWE News: Spoiler On Batista’s Next Appearance On WWE Raw 1

Batista returned on this past edition of WWE Raw to create the biggest impact. He was supposed to be a guest on Ric Flair’s birthday party (WWE never confirmed it though). But rather than reuniting with the pro-wrestling legend and his former Evolution partner, he decided to attack him from behind. As we have seen, Flair was in an unconscious state. All of these were to get some attention from Triple H.

This is the beginning of a feud between these two superstars. Triple H vs. Batista is the most likely lineup at Wrestlemania 35 as hinted on many occasions, previously. An injury picked up by the WWE COO might have halted the plan for sometimes. But the return of the 6-time world heavyweight champion is an indication that those plans are back in track. Going forward, we are likely to see more appearances from him.

As reported by PWInsider.com, Batista is all set to appear on the next edition of WWE Raw. WWE will visit Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Wells Fargo Center for this upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW. The audience is likely to see the Animal back to continue the angle that started on Ric Flair’s 70th birthday party. The company is yet to make any big announcements regarding the upcoming show.

But the addition of The Animal on the show is going to be a big rating-booster. We should also mention that this upcoming episode of WWE Raw will be the go-home show for the Fastlane pay-per-view event. It takes place on Sunday, March 10th at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Batista also appeared in an interview with Tampa Bay Times following his appearance on WWE Raw. He had some interesting talks about quitting the company a decade ago. We got to know the exact reason why a decision taken by Vince McMahon forced him to leave the company.

He competed in a match against Chris Jericho in 2008. Batista bladed himself during the contest which was not allowed. McMahon fined him with $100000 that started bad blood that continued over the next several months. It led to the departure in 2010. Here’s more from this incident in a previous session in Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast,

“I knew we weren’t supposed to do it…I knew I would get consequences but I thought I would get the consequences and I didn’t think they’d be as harsh as they were. Then he starts passing out fines. So my fine was $100,000…My heart dropped. I thought it would be like $25,000…When he said $100,000, I was just heartbroken. I literally think that he sucked the life out of me that day. I think that’s the day that I knew things were never going to be the same.”
