WWE will come up with the next pay-per-view event in their calendar on this Sunday Night. It marks the return of the infamous steel structure known as the Elimination Chamber. Inside this, two of the championships’ fates will be in the line. One of the matches will take place over the inaugural women’s tag team championships.

The other match will take place inside the Elimination Chamber over the most prestigious title in sports entertainment. It is needless to say that Daniel Bryan is facing the toughest challenge on this Sunday during his WWE title reign. The question is whether he will be able to retain the gold heading into Wrestlemania. The answer looks to be a big Yes courtesy of future advertisements of the WWE.
WWE’s next PPV event following the Elimination Chamber is going to be Fastlane. It will take place on March 10th from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Tickets have already started selling for the show declaring some of the big matches on that night. One of the main event matches will take place over the WWE title with Daniel Bryan defending, as per cagesideseats.com.
The local advertisements have revealed that a triple threat WWE Championship match will take place at Fastlane PPV. Daniel Bryan will defend against AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. It hints that the meanest heel of Smackdown Live will come out of Elimination Chamber as still the reigning champion. He is not likely to lose the title until Wrestlemania.
It will be interesting to see whom he faces to at the biggest event of the year from the Smackdown roster. Someone new should be coming after him as the 2019 Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins has chosen to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 35. So Bryan’s future opponent on April 7th is yet to be disclosed.
Two more matches from Fastlane are being advertised, locally. Bobby Lashley will face Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship. In this case, it is unknown who is defending. So it’s still unknown who is walking out of Elimination Chamber PPV as the IC champion. The third advertised match will take place between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. There might big stipulations added to this match.
