It looks like the return of Jeff Hardy in time for Wrestlemania 34 is in jeopardy.
He continues to go into troubles just like the older times. It also continued the tradition of current WWE roster members entering controversial matters and pushing the creative team to pick up more headaches.
At this time, it was reported by wrestlingINC.com; the younger Hardy got arrested in Concord, North Carolina which is two hours of distance from his home city. He was involved in a car crash spotted by the police who took him under the police custody. The mugshots taken of the WWE superstar went viral on the internet.
The incident took place at 8.11 AM according to the source on Concord Parkway. To be precise, the car met with an accident right where Concord Parkway South meets Bruton Smith Boulevard. Jeff was instantly put into an alcoholic test by the police. The official report is yet to be unveiled. Later, in the evening he was bailed.

“The accident occurred around 8:11 pm on Concord Parkway. Hardy ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail, which caused his car to spin out into the middle of the right northbound lane. Hardy’s license has been suspended for 30 days, and he has a court date scheduled for April 16th.
The police report lists an estimated $5,000 in damages to the 105 foot of guardrail, owned by the NC Department of Transportation. This could be a factor in any restitution that the court orders Hardy to pay.”

There’s no doubt that this is going to be a huge roadblock for Jeff Hardy returning to the WWE before the Wrestlemania season. He was said to be coming back to his brother’s corner who transformed into Woken Matt Hardy in recent months.
It also got rumoured these two might team up once again to take on the Bar at Wrestlemania for the tag team championships.
But, with this incident happening, the chances are seemingly less of the scenario mentioned above. Also, we might not witness him in the upcoming Ultimate Deletion match to take place on this upcoming week’s episode of WWE Raw.
This is not the first time that Jeff Hardy has suffered such accusations. In the past, he dealt with drug problems. WWE had suspended him on two occasions after he violated the wellness policy put by the company. The rules also state a superstar suffer the same consequence for three times in his career then his contract will be terminated. Hopefully, the same will not happen with the younger Hardy.
Meanwhile, WWE let their stand known with this situation with the following statement,
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
