WWE News: Stephanie McMahon Addressed Shane McMahon Ahead of Survivor Series
We are on the verge of the 30th annual Survivor Series event. The tensions are higher than ever between the two WWE brands, Raw and Smackdown. The respective commissioners from the brands are also fired up with this one night of the year where they get the chance to reign supreme on each other by pulling off big-time performances.
Stephanie McMahon is the active commissioner of Monday Night Raw, whereas, Shane McMahon is the owner of the blue brand. Plus, the latter one is also the one to lead his team in the co-branded PPV, this year. He will be performing in the traditional tag team match at the PPV.
Now, last year, Smackdown emerged as the winner in the main event match by eliminating all the members of WWE Raw. Shane was also a part of the match. Stephanie has not forgotten the insult that she faced on that night. In fact, while returning to Raw, two weeks ago, she demanded total annihilation of his brother in this year’s show. So, the GM, Kurt Angle’s job is on the line.

In the go home show of Smackdown Live, the prodigal son of WWE suffered a vicious assault from the superstars of Raw. The Shield and the GM, Kurt Angle beat the hell out of him inside the ring to give a bold statement by putting the commissioner down. It was foreseeable since he was the innovator of a Raw invasion, three weeks ago.
So, Shane fired back too on Twitter stating that at Survivor Series, it will be a different scene when the Smackdown superstars seek redemption against Raw. For now, chances are more that Raw will ultimately emerge as the winner so that Kurt Angle can keep his job, going forward.
