Stephanie McMahon is one of biggest star powers on WWE Raw TV. Her one presence can pull up the ratings just like that. She brings all business for the show just like her pendant catchphrase, ‘best for business’.
Nowadays WWE uses her in a limited number of episodes to keep this intensity around her presence each time.
Last night was one of those, as WWE hyped-up her comeback. An official statement confirmed that Stephanie McMahon is coming back to WWE RAW after two months. This time around she will be making a historic announcement.
She announced a Women’s Royal Rumble and Women’s Elimination Chamber match that indeed created history. We expected one such confirmation from her regarding the female roster. Speculations were up on the rumour mills regarding an all-women PPV and a tag team division for them.
So we expected to hear the same confirmations from the WWE RAW commissioner. Spoilers were already out about this on the internet. Vince McMahon himself was present on the show before Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon came out to greet the crowd. They thanked all of the WWE Universe and the superstars for their dedication in the company.
Triple H specifically mentioned the women superstars for breaking the barriers over the past few years. They have gone to create history with new gimmick matches. Now the women will get their PPV event on this year’s October 28th. 50 women from ‘now, then and forever’ will compete in the exclusive PPV show named ‘Evolution’.
The WWE Raw, Smackdown, and NXT Women’s Championship will be on the line on that day. Plus, the finale of the Mae Young Classic part II will also take place, live on that night. The Nassau Coliseum from Uniondale, New York will be the host of this monumental showdown amongst the women superstars.
More details on the show will be available as per storyline basis as we progress to the show in the fall. Meanwhile, WWE.com confirmed the following with an official statement once WWE Raw went off the air,
“Every woman on the roster will be on hand, including Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Carmella, Nia Jax, and Asuka, as well as WWE Hall of Famers and Legends Trish Stratus, Lita and many more. Tickets for WWE Evolution will be available Friday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m. ET via www.ticketmaster.com, NYCBLIVE.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.”
