Stephanie McMahon came up with another big announcement for the women’s division. She made a historic revelation on the July 23rd episode of WWE Raw. The women division will be competing on a first-time PPV event exclusively for them. It will be the Evolution PPV to take place on October 28th.

Women’s Revolution is going on for a long time creating new benchmarks for the women wrestlers. Superstars from all around the globe have been able to compete in it by the Mae Young Classic tournament. Now, 50 women, superstars will be a part of this to make history in this fall.

Stephanie McMahon has been the leader of this Revolution aka Evolution from the get-go. She has worked tirelessly to change the perception that surrounded the women’s division, to date. So it remains justified only if she takes part in this inaugural all-women PPV event.

Sky Sports brought the same topic in a recent interview with the commissioner of WWE Raw. They asked whether she will return to in-ring competition at Evolution. She left the idea to the creative team leaving a positive chance of this to happen. Here are her quotes, (courtesy stillrealtous.com),

“That’s yet to be determined, we want to make sure our superstars really get the spotlight they deserve but if it makes sense then absolutely. But that’s yet to be determined.”

We have seen Stephanie McMahon competing in a tag team match on this year’s Wrestlemania. She teamed up with Triple H to take on the team of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey. It turned out to be the most entertaining match of the night despite the Steph coming up short.

The interviewer also asked the Billion Dollar Princess about the inauguration of the women’s tag team division. We expected to have an official statement about this from Stephanie McMahon during the historic announcement. Since it did not happen, the host wanted to have some revelation around it.

Well, the Boss did not disappoint us, as she stated the following when the interviewer asked whether WWE is looking forward to it,

“Not quite yet but that’s absolutely something we’ve heard loud and clear from our fan base, and it’s something we’re keen on implementing as soon as we are able to.”
