WWE News: Superstars and Fans Celebrate 20 Years of D-Generation X 1

Last night marked the 20th anniversary of the iconic group in the WWE known as D-Generation X. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are the two core members of this stable, whereas, over the years, numerous names have been a part of it. They were one of the main reasons that WWE was able to make The Attitude Era, so successful.

During an episode of Raw Is War on August 11, 1997, Triple H and Chyna interfered in a match between Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley that is considered as the official debut of one of the dominant factions in the history of the company. Triple H helped his best friend to come up victorious against Mankind.

The name D-Generation X was not given, at that point. Rather, the faction grew bigger with the inclusion of X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and more to create the popular stable under the same name that dominated the sports entertainment for over a decade.

WWE came up with the idea of celebrating the legendary faction’s 20th anniversary by channelling some good-old moments of DX on the WWE Network. Plus, a photo gallery was published on WWE.com comprising the current Raw and Smackdown superstars clicking pictures in the signature pose of Triple H and Michaels.

Hunter posted a picture on Twitter reminiscing the infamous events that were gifted by him and the Heart Break Kid. The latter one also addressed the anniversary occasion replying to the tweet from the COO of the company.

WWE Shop had come up with some exclusive t-shirts of De-Generation X for the fans that have been made available. Fans can order it online, as advertised on their official Twitter handle.

The last time we have seen Triple H and Co. together in their DX attire was at the 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw in the year 2012. They have opened the show with their signature entrance on a tank for one last time. At this time, let’s take a look how the WWE Superstars celebrated the occasion:
