WWE News: Tables Match Added To WWE TLC Match Card 1

Natalya and Ruby Riott are in the midst of a personal rivalry for the last few weeks. It started in a nasty way where the leader of the Riott Squad members targeted the sunglass of her rival’s father. The legendary Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart has passed away earlier this year leaving her daughter to carry the Hart Dungeon legacy. This is the reason why Natalya wore Anvil’s jacket and sunglasses to the ring.

A heel turn coming up for Natalya

We could not realize that WWE was actually trying to use this as a storyline angle. It might not go well with the PG programming that WWE hosts, these days. But the officials continued with the angle that witnessed the Riott Squad doing some heinous acts to Natalya. Now they will look forward to culminating the rivalry at the upcoming PPV event named WWE TLC.

WWE has confirmed that Natalya and Ruby Riott will go one-on-one at the upcoming PPV. This will not be an ordinary match, of course. Rather, they will compete in a Tables Match. Normal pinfall or submission does not count in this stipulated match. The only way to win the contest is to put your opponent through a table. Plus, this one is going to be a no-DQ affair at WWE TLC. Here, the official announcement,

“Who is destined to go through the table when Natalya battles Riott one-on-one? Can The Queen of Harts find a way to keep the rest of The Riott Squad at bay long enough to finally get retribution in her highly personal rivalry with the destructive faction? Don’t miss WWE TLC, Sunday, Dec. 16, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.”

We got an indication of this match when the Riott Squad put Natalya through the tables on this past edition of WWE Raw in Houston. The heel faction is constantly using the numbers game to take advantage against the Queen of Harts. They will certainly try to capitalize with the same strategy in this particular match at WWE TLC.

Here any of the interferences from the Riott Squad members will be absolutely legal. The referee can’t do anything as the match will take place under No Disqualification rules. Chances of seeing Natalya scoring a win over Ruby Riott is very low in this circumstance.
