WWE News: The Miz Hits Back Baron Corbin on Twitter
Nov 4, 2017 at 2:57 PM
There will be four champions vs champions matches in the upcoming Survivor Series PPV. The theme of the last dual brand PPV event of the year is the brand rivalry between Raw and Smackdown. So, this is going to be one rare occasion in the year where both the stables will try to reign supreme over each other.
Last week, it was made official that the two mid-card titleholders from both Raw and Smackdown will go head-to-head at the PPV event which means The Miz and Baron Corbin will feature in a match. The latter one is the reigning one-timer United States Champion, whereas, the Hollywood A-lister is one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time who is currently having the seventh reign with the title.
The announcement of this match was quite an unusual one since both these superstars are bonafide heels in their respective brands. So, this is another rare match which will get contested in a heel vs heel capacity. There are some concerns as to whether the audience will like it or not.

To hype-up this match, the US Champion took the first shot on Twitter once the matchup got announced. Corbin was flying high after destroying the Raw locker room as part of the #RawSiege program led by none other than Shane McMahon. So, he did not hesitate to throw a shot to the Miz by calling him a man who ‘keep playing dress-up’ with his wife.
It was a clear shot at The IC champion preparing to welcome their baby girl soon. Since Corbin dragged Maryse in the scenario, The Miz gave him a proper reply. Once again, he showed us why he is the best promo-deliver on the current roster.

The former WWE Champion addressed the Lone Wolf as a “twitter-tough guy” while repeating that he will continue making the IC title more prestigious at Survivor Series. Plus, he gave a threat to his opponent stating that if he talks trash about Maryse, once more then he will knock Corbin’s teeth down his throat. It is a pretty good idea to build a bad blood between the two on the social media before bringing it on WWE TV. The audience will invest in it, quite naturally.
