WWE News: The Miz to Return on Next Week’s Raw Episode 1

The Miz was last seen in the WWE on November 20th edition of the show. On that night, he featured in a championship match against Roman Reigns. Kurt Angle forced him to defend his Intercontinental Title against The Big Dog. Reigns did defeat him in the main event.

Following it, The Miz went on to cut a big promo with the mic which was cut short by the Shield. The trio appeared to deliver their pendant Shield bomb on the former champion through the announce table to take him out of the equation. It was a storyline perspective to keep the prime superstar away from the ring for a while.

He was busy filming The Marine franchise’s sixth movie alongside Becky Lynch and Shawn Michaels that kept him out of action, in reality. In recent reports, it got clarified that the seven-time Intercontinental Champion was done with the filming in recent times. Hence, it was just a matter of time that he would be back onboard.

So, it was confirmed by WWE that he will return on the second edition of WWE Raw in 2018 that will take place, next week. His two partners, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas were more than excited to hear the news, as this will give a boost to their career, once again. Ever since The Miz was gone, they have been dealing with a series of losses on the flagship program. But, with the leader coming back, they might become relevant, once again.

Meanwhile, cagesideseats.com reported that a huge planning is in store for the Hollywood A-lister when he finally gets back. According to the source, The Miz will be looking to regain his Intercontinental Championship from Roman Reigns.

It is quite certain that the former champion had never received his title rematch and will make a pledge for it after coming back. On Twitter, he took shots to The Big Dog in recent times and will not spare him, at all with his allies present by his side. So, it’s needless to say that Roman Reigns will have a bigger chip on his shoulder starting from next week.
