Now, WWE is well aware of the fact that the biggest cricket carnival of the year is currently ongoing in the country. So, they are willing to utilise it to the fullest. As a result of which, The New Day will be appearing during IPL broadcast, next week.

As given updates by Ten Sports, the most entertaining trio in the WWE will be visiting India, next week. They will land in Mumbai on May 10th and will be staying here till the 12th. The purpose of their visit is due to the promotion of WWE products.

The Unicorns will appear in the May 10th edition of IPL Extra Innings T20, as part of this promotional campaign. The Gujarat Lions are scheduled to take on the Delhi Daredevils on that day. WWE is leaving no stones unturned to grow more subscribers for the WWE Network by taking over the Indian market. They have recently launched the official WWE Shop in Mumbai where the exclusive WWE merchandises will be available.

They are constantly researching to find new ways to spread their wings here. So, the IPL pre-show will give them a bigger platform to promote their products on a mainstream television. Plus, considering the popularity of The New Day around the masses, it is quite sure the WWE fans will be glued to the TV screen on next Wednesday.

To encourage the Indian fans for watching WWE shows, the company has recently given Jinder Mahal a WWE championship opportunity. WWE needed a guy with Indian origin and they found it in him. The mane with the “Maharaja” gimmick will face Randy Orton for the WWE championship at the upcoming Backlash PPV on May 21st.
