WWE News: The New Day vs The Shield Announced at the Survivor Series PPV
Nov 14, 2017 at 1:34 PM
This week’s edition of WWE Raw witnessed a triumphant return of Roman Reigns. Stephanie McMahon kicked off the show with a segment along with Kurt Angle. She went on a rant against the Raw general manager for his wrong decisions. So, Angle was on the verge of losing his job when The Shield interrupted with The Big Dog in the middle.
The Hounds of Justice cut a promo on how Kurt Angle did a fair job for the past several months. When Reigns got injured, he was the one to involve in the mix and make the TLC PPV successful. Stephanie was apparently not happy with The Shield speaking for the GM.

Also, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins mentioned the fact that The New Day was the sole reason that they do not have the WWE Raw tag team titles, tonight. In the middle of the championship match, the unicorns showed up, out of nowhere and distracted them allowing The Bar to capture the championships.
So, Roman Reigns went on to throw a challenge to the unicorns from Smackdown Live. It is a much-anticipated matchup that the WWE Universe wants to see and hence The Big Dog laid down the challenge right down in the middle.
Suffering succotash! We, The New Day, accept the Shield’s challenge at Survivor Series but request that all shock-absorbing body armor including (but not limited to) protective vests, shoulder pads, and heavy wool sweaters be disallowed for competitive use.

The New Day did not take a long time to respond to it. Big E took his Twitter handle to accept the challenge to set up the match. He did a mockery of the Shield attire while doing so. Later, WWE.com officially announced the matchup at Survivor Series,
“Forget the numbers advantage. Forget psychological warfare. At Survivor Series, get ready as two of the most dominant trios ever to step into a WWE ring show up and throw down. Will The Power of Positivity triumph at WWE’s second-longest running pay-per-view? Or will The Hounds get their justice? Find out this Sunday, streaming live on the WWE Network, with a special start time of 7 ET/4 PT. “
